If life were fair, we would have gathered in Oginibo or perhaps taken a plane to somewhere private to celebrate your 63rd birthday but I guess the heavens had a different plan.
Omemavwa is trying to hold it together but we can all see how difficult it is for her especially as she shares the same birthday with you. I know it’s going to be hard to make today have the same shine that it had for her while you were here but may the good Lord bear me witness… I will do my best to make it bearable for her here on.
Your granddaughter Kobaro my 1st daughter asked me if you would send her a present from heaven. I might have to become something close to a fairy god mother and create some magic in your name…you would have had a great laugh at that thought and called it rubbish.
In all, I miss you especially today. We would have spoken as you dished out uncommon wisdom which I get to put to good use now that you are no more here. I cannot be ashamed to say, I miss you a lot dad….here’s a first posthumous happy birthday to the great Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi and a beautiful birthday celebration to my sister and daughter. Daddy may not be here…but I am.
Love
Emuoboh Gbagi
